3. Table tricks
Kids “own” their
little table when you
let them draw on the
paper tablecloth or
glue turkey feathers
around the border.
4. Turkey tim e
Get a work glove,
markers, glue-on
buttons for eyes (and
felt pieces for wings
and beaks), and
you’ve got a holiday
hand puppet.
5. Puzzle pic
With blank jigsaw
kits—found at most
craft and hobby
stores— kids can turn
their artwork into an
instant puzzle.
6. Duct feathers
Lay out a strip of
duct tape, adhesive
side up. Place
feathers on the strip,
then cover with
another strip of tape
(adhesive side down)
for a fun feather hat.
7. A rt central
Make a caddy from
unused paint cans
or mugs— one for
each child.
8. Inspire!
Keep
the table stocked,
whether it’s with
games or extra art
supplies. The kids will
thank you for it. (2)
